Chris DiMeglio is a trumpeter, composer, and vocalist living in New York City. He has performed or recorded with with Greg Bobulinski, Daniel Carter, Steve Dalachinsky, François Grillot, Jason Kao Hwang, Shahzad Ismaily, Chris Kelsey, Daniel Levin, Nate McBride, Butch Morris, Mark Ribot, Frank Rosaly, Jay Rosen, Blaise Siwula, Steve Swell, and Anti-Social Music. Chris was a commission recipient from the Festival of New Trumpet Music in 2008, and his first recording as a leader, The Open Field, was released later that year.

Chris currently performs with his own Imaginary Quartet, the Knox Martin Quartet, Trumpet One & Two, the Chris Kelsey Quartet, and many other creative collaborations. He is gradually completing an album called Simple Songs which uses only piano and voice. This project is, frankly, taking him too long so you should really send him some kind of threatening note or give him a harassing phone call to encourage its completion.
